Andrew became a huge fan of Fairway Market (and our master cheesemonger, Steve Jenkins!) as a young chef working in Manhattan in the early nineties. In 2010, he jumped at the opportunity to become a part of the new Fairway Wine & Spirits store in Stamford. As a CIA graduate with over 15 years of experience in fine wine retail and wholesale, working at Fairway Wines & Spirits allows Andrew to express, in both the store selection and impeccable customer service, the same commitment to quality, diversity and excellence that has defined Fairway Market for over 75 years. He often finds that his experience as a chef, and his interest in ethnic cuisine, is well suited to such a mission – like the process of finding the perfect white wine to pair with an authentic fondue, or the traditional red to serve with cassoulet. In this spirit, Andrew and the team continually strive to offer a highly diverse international selection that best compliments our customers’ desires.
